IPhone 10 is frozen lock screen. I've force reset by punching vol up vol down then holding power until apple appears. Done this several times. Still freezes on lock screen

If you can't fix the problem by rebooting your device, try restoring it with iTunes.

  • 1. Connect your iPad to computer.
  • 2. Download and install the latest version of iTunes on your computer, if you've already have iTunes installed in your computer, make sure that it's the latest version available.
  • 3. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button at the same time and keep holding both buttons until you see the recovery mode screen appears.

  • 4. You should be prompted to Restore or Update your iPad, select Update and iTunes will try to reinstall iOS in your iPad without wiping your data in iPad.
    • iTunes will start to download iOS for your iPad. If this process takes more than 15 minutes, iPad will exit recovery mode automatically and you'll have to enter recovery mode again.

SOURCE: my computer freezes up

Right click on a open spot on the desktop. Click on personalize. (that is with a left click)

Then click on screen saver
At the bottom of that window, is a link that says "Change power settings"
Click on that.
Change power plan.

Put Turn off the display - change that to NEVER
Put the computer to sleep - Change that to NEVER

That should fix your problem.

You need to a fresh restore of the iPhone. Hold down the home and power buttons together until the screen goes black. Then while the screen is still black, plug it into your computer WHILE holding down the home button.
At this point iTunes should detect your iPhone and tell you that you need to do a restore.

samevthing happened to me your gonna have to plugg your iphone into the comupter and hold the power and home button down at the same time until it shuts off. Keep holding the buttons down until it powers back on. there should be a picture of a guy wearing holding his hands up in the air on your iphone and itunes should open up on your computer. Now you will have to restore your phone.

When the device is locked up like this hold down the lock and home buttons. After a few seconds the device will turn off, immediately let go of both buttons. Now press down and hold the home button. Hit the power/lock button one time. Continue holding the home button until the phone boots up. It will need to be connected to iTunes for recovery at this point.

We did a reset on the phone now it is frozen
Sometimes, the iPhone 3G gets so frozen that the standard force quite process for program doesn’t work. In that case, you’ll need to reset the iPhone.
To do that, hold both the sleep/wake and Home buttons together for at least 10 seconds.
The red shut down slider will show up at the top of the screen and then disappear. Keep holding the buttons. The screen may even go black, but don’t let go of the buttons until the Apple logo shows up. When it appears, let the buttons go and the phone will start up normally.
