It has the direct drive motor on this model. The guide mount has no adjustment. Is there any kind of adapter made to get the guide furtheraway from drive wheel?
SOURCE: can't get pin off to replace wiper blades
It's not the pin. The wiper has a small tab to press on the bottom. Press the tab and pull down on the wiper blade at the same time.
SOURCE: Driver's side window (power windows) doesn't gets
lube the window guides with silicone spray, if that doesn't do it then ou will need to pull the door panel and see what is worn out.
Testimonial: "Is it a quick job to lube the window guides??"
SOURCE: my 1994 regal grandsport cuts off
I had this exact problem several years ago: my car would just shut off while both braking and turning, usually on exit ramps. I got very good at shifting to neutral/turning the car off and on/shifting into drive all while suffering through the lack of power steering. It usually freaked my passengers out.
It ended up being the EGR valve, a costly but very necessary fix.
SOURCE: My driver side cv joint inner boot keeps breaking
Are you replacing the cv axle yourself. If you are going with an aftermarket axle, that may be your problem. I would recommend going back to O.E. Also, some original saturn parts may be hard to find.
SOURCE: i can hear a metal
Hello Dean.
Where on the vehicle is this noise coming from? I know it may not be easy to do as noises travel easily through the vehicles body, but I will need any help you can offer to help you.
The metal noise could be u joints, cv joints, differential bearings, transfer case.
There is a bulletin on the transfer case. here it is.
TECHNICAL
Bulletin No.: 08-04-21-001B
Date: August 25, 2008

NVG 126/226 Transfer Case Grating/Grinding Noise When 4WD is Engaged,

Bearing Assembly and Clutch Lever)

This bulletin is being revised to update the correction information
to include a procedure to reindex the transfer case encoder motor (actuator).
This procedure is being provided to help reduce unnecessary warranty
expenses. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 08-04-21-001A
(Section 04 - Transmission/Transaxle).
Condition
Some customers may comment on a grinding type noise in the transfer
case when 4WD is engaged in either AUTO or 4WD mode. This noise may also
be accompanied by the SERVICE 4WD lamp being illuminated and DTC C0327
set.
This condition is more prevalent on vehicles where 4WD is continuously used.
Cause
This noise may be caused by a faulty clutch pressure plate bearing.
A more robust clutch pressure plate bearing, inner plate and clutch
lever has been released for service. Replace the clutch pressure plate
bearing, inner plate and clutch lever. Refer to the Transfer Case
Disassemble and Transfer Case Assemble procedures in SI. Former and new
parts should not be intermixed during transfer case overhaul and they
are to be used in sets only.
DO NOT replace the transfer case assembly unless extensive internal damage has occurred.
Important: When the clutch pressure plate bearing fails, it
causes the clutch lever to over-travel, allowing the transfer case
encoder motor (actuator)
to rotate to an invalid position. Engineering has developed a tool and
procedure to reindex the transfer case encoder motor (actuator) so it
can be reused.
There is more to the bulletin but this gives you an idea of a possibility of the noise.
Also when in 4WD and when the road surface is hard with good traction it is normal to feel the binding. Especially when you are turning. The reason for this is all the wheels do not necessarily turn at the same speed or distance and the drivetrain will "wind up" crating pressure in the driveline.
The use of 4 wheel drive should be used only on surfaces where the tires can 'slip" allowing the binding to release.
There you are, I hope it helps you towards a repair.
Thank you for using FixYa.
