My roper washing machine is only a few months old , when o shut the lid and start it the lock just constantly clicks And the machine won't do anything

transmission or timer is bador going bad,or there is a switch i have an old whirlpool and roper which is made by whirlpool/kenmore that does same thing hope that helps its at least a start

Try pushing the basket to the back so you can reach the lid switch housing - you should be able to re-align it by hand.
If that is impossible, that means the lid switch plastic housing broke loose and needs to be replaced.

i have the problem when i turn power on 2 green wash cycle lights plus the red lid lock stay on with constant beeping every second then when i push the start button the 2 green lights go out and the red lid lock light stays on but no beeps please help
