You can do one of two things. Go to your schedule and select the program you entered. You should be able to edit the recording schedule from there. If your system does not allow that, then delete the program from your schedule then add it again with the proper recording schedule.

I apologize you are experiencing this problem with your timers. When you display the program information (pressing the "Info" button on the remote), what does it show for the original aired date? If it is a premier, then you might check your software version on the receiver to make sure it is current. The current version is L6.41 or L6.40. If you do have the current software version, have you reset your receiver. If not, unplug the receiver for 10 seconds and plug back in. After the picture returns, see what is displayed. If it still has the wrong information, delete the timer and setup a new one to see if this will resolve this issue. I hope this helps.

OK! That often depends on what you've done to this camera since the deletion.
In fact, the deleted files on a camera memory card are not actually destroyed immediately after the deletion. They are still there and become invisible. So, as long as you've not overwritten them with anything new, you do have a big chance to get them all back successfully.
So, simply connect this camera to a computer and try a camera data recovery freeware that can deeply scan your formatted hard drive and restore all your wanted files back:

Note: Next time, you should always remember to make backups of everything important in case of similar problems.

The chef who was on the Marilyn Dennis show today

If your TV schedule doesn't indicate who was there, maybe it identifies the episode? At any rate, on her web page, one can search for "chef" by clicking the magnifying glass there and entering that word. This generates photos of chefs appearing on the shows and their names.

I don't know if this show episode is the same in your geographic area as in another.

How do we pre program our Rogers PVR so we can record new episodes of our favorite shows without haveing to program on a daily basis

You cannot program the PVR to only record the new episodes with this unit. However, you can set it to record all episodes of a program. Press the Rec button on the remote. Select your PVR that you want to have record the program. Use the arrow keys to navigate to More Recording Options. Select All Options. (Note: if your program is moved by the channel programmers, the show that airs instead will be recorded by the PVR.) This is shown here: https://connected.rogers.com/how-tos/posts/get-connected-with-rogers-whole-home-pvr-626435 .

I hope this helps.

Dvr VIP622 will only record up to 20 episodes, still has 148 free hours left...whats the cause and fix?

hmaddison21,

Our 622 receivers are able to record more than just 20 episodes. There is a setting you can change to ensure it keeps any recordings.

Press the DVR button 3 times to go to Daily Schedule. Once there select "Timers" and then manually select the timer that you're having problems with. Go to Options and on the bottom is a "Maximum Recorded Events" section. This is where you can tell the receiver how many episodes to hold before automatically deleting them. Delete the timer and reset it up, make sure that box has a # symbol in it. If the problem continues afterwards, let me know here!

Vista Home....Automatic restore points are not being saved....I can manually enter them and they show up on the drop down table....I have both drives checked off to allow automatically creating restore...

Hi g502,

Here are some helpful tips that you may use on how to Change the Automatic System Restore Point Settings in Vista Task Scheduler.

By default System Restore is scheduled to create a restore point at 12 AM every day (Daily trigger) and at every system startup (At startup trigger) in Task Scheduler if any system changes were made from the last time it checked. This will show you how to change these schedule settings, or disable one or both triggers.

Warning:
System Restore will need to be turned on for this scheduled task to be able to run.

1. Open the Start Menu.

A) In the white line (Start Search) area, type taskschd.msc and press Enter.

B) Go to step 3.

OR

2. Open the Control Panel (Classic view).

A) Click on the Administrative Tools Icon.

B) Click on Task Scheduler.

3. Click on Continue in the UAC Prompt.

4. In the left pane click on the triangle next to Task Scheduler Library, Microsoft, and Windows to expand the folder tree. (See screenshot below step 5)

5. Click on the SystemRestore folder.

A) Choose a option or options below to do.

reyjoshua07_53.jpg

OPTION ONE

To Disable or Enable this Task Completely

6. To Disable this Task Completely -
NOTE: This will disable both the Daily (OPTION TWO) and At startup (OPTION THREE) triggers regardless of how they are set individually. You will not have anymore automatic restore points created with this task disabled. You can still manually create a restore point though. For how, see: How to Create a System Restore Point in Vista

A) In the middle pane, right click on the SR task and click on Disable. (See screenshot below step 5)

B) Go to step 22.

7. To Enable this Task Completely -
NOTE: Check to make sure that each Daily (step 12 in OPTION TWO) and At startup (step 17 in OPTION THREE) trigger is also set as Enabled.

A) In the middle pane, right click on the SR task and click on Enable. (See screenshot below step 5)

B) Continue to OPTION TWO.

OPTION TWO

To Change Only the Daily Trigger Settings

NOTE: You will need to have the task enabled in step 7 to use this trigger. This is the trigger that creates a restore point at 12 AM every day by default. If you do not want to change these settings, then continue to OPTION THREE.

8. In the middle pane, right click on the SR task and click on Properties. (See screenshot below step 5)

9. Click on the Triggers tab. (See screenshot below step 10)

10. Click on the Daily trigger to highlight it and click on the Edit button.
NOTE: These are the default settings for the Daily trigger in the screenshot below.

reyjoshua07_3.png

11. To Disable the Daily Trigger -
NOTE: This is if you only wanted to have restore points create with the At startup (OPTION THREE) trigger instead.

A) Uncheck the Enabled box and click on OK. (See screenshot below step 12)

B) Continue to OPTION THREE.

12. To Enable the Daily Trigger -

A) Check the Enabled box. (See screenshot below)

B) If the default settings for the Daily trigger schedule are not what you want, then make any changes that you would like.
NOTE: For more details about each of these settings, see STEP FIVE here: How to Create a Task in Vista Task Scheduler

D) Continue to OPTION THREE.

reyjoshua07_54.jpg

OPTION THREE

To Change Only the At startup Trigger Settings

NOTE: You will need to have the task enabled in step 7 to use this trigger. This is the trigger that creates a restore point at every system startup by default. If you do not want to change these settings, then continue to OPTION FOUR.

13. In the middle pane, right click on the SR task and click on Properties. (See screenshot below step 5)

14. Click on the Triggers tab. (See screenshot below step 15)

15. Click on the At startup trigger to highlight it and click on the Edit button.
NOTE: These are the default settings for the At startup trigger in the screenshot below.

16. To Disable the At startup Trigger -
NOTE: This is if you only wanted to have restore points create with the Daily (OPTION TWO) trigger instead.

A) Uncheck the Enabled box and click on OK. (See screenshot below step 17)

B) Continue to OPTION THREE.

17. To Enable the At startup Trigger -

A) Check the Enabled box. (See screenshot below)

B) To Speed Up Startup Time - Make sure that under Advanced Settings, the Delay task for box is checked and you have an amount of minutes set that you want for System Restore to run after startup.

C) If the default advanced settings for the At startup trigger schedule are not what you want, then make any changes that you would like.

D) Click on OK.

E) Continue to OPTION FOUR.

reyjoshua07_56.jpg

OPTION FOUR

To Change the Conditions for the Task

NOTE: You will need to have the task enabled in step 7 first. This will effect how both the Daily (OPTION TWO) and At startup (OPTION THREE) triggers run. If you do not want to change these settings, then continue to OPTION FIVE.

18. In the middle pane, right click on the SR task and click on Properties. (See screenshot below step 5)

A) Click on the Conditions tab. (See screenshot below)
NOTE: These are the default settings for the Conditions tab in the screenshot below.

OPTION FIVE

To Change the Settings for the Task

NOTE: You will need to have the task enabled in step 7 first. This will effect how both the Daily (OPTION TWO) and At startup (OPTION THREE) triggers run. If you do not want to change these settings, then continue to OPTION SIX.

19. In the middle pane, right click on the SR task and click on Properties. (See screenshot below step 5)

A) Click on the Settings tab. (See screenshot below)
NOTE: These are the default settings for the Settings tab in the screenshot below.

B) Make any changes you would like.
NOTE: For more details about each of these settings, see STEP EIGHT here: How to Create a Task in Vista Task Scheduler

reyjoshua07_58.jpg

C) Continue to OPTION SIX.

OPTION SIX

To See the Task History

NOTE: This will show you what the run and error history for this task is. This can be handy to help troubleshoot any problems with the task, or you just want to see when it ran. If you do not want to see the history, then go to step 21.

20. In the middle pane, right click on the SR task and click Properties. (See screenshot below step 5)
NOTE: You can also just click on the History tab in the bottom half of the middle pane instead.

A) Click on the History tab. (See screenshot below)
NOTE: In the bottom pane you can get more details about a selected history event listed in the top pane.

reyjoshua07_59.jpg

B) Go to step 21.

21. Click on OK. (See screenshots from below either steps 10, 15, 18B, or 19B)

How do you delete a program that is mistakenly added to the record every episode mode

The easiest way I know is to press menu, then daily schedule. Find the program in question in your list. Click on that program and you will se a window "timers", click on that and you will see "delete", click on that. then you can reset your program to record the way you want. You can also follow the same proceedure, click menu, then daily schedule, then click on "timers". Scroll to the timer you want to delete, click on it, then click on delete.

The following is instructions for deleting timers from your receiver.

Turn your TV on. Press your DVR button on your DISH remote 2 times. This will bring up My Recordings on your TV. Select the Schedule button on the right of the screen. This will take you to the Daily Schedule screen. Select the Timers button on the right. You will be on the Timers List screen. Press and release the Left Arrow button on the remote to move the cursor into the Timers List box. Select the timer you want to remove. After pressing select on the remote, there is a button on the right, Delete. Select the Delete button and it will ask you if you are sure you want to delete the timer. Select Yes. You will need to follow those steps to delete all timers you do not want. As you delete timers, you will not see those timers on the Timers List or the Daily Schedule anymore. I hope this helps.

when you select "new episodes" it will record ALL episoded that have not been recorded already. ALL episoded will record every time the show comes on. as far as then 134 hr recording, it sounds like a manual timer error i would erase it and monitor progress to see if it does it again.
