You need a C wire aka common wire to fix it. Trust me. Its the power sharing causing your HVAC to trip off, it is sensitive to a small power stilling by your Nest thermostat to charge its internal battery. Hope this would help.
Your thermostat needs a 24 volt power supply. This is typically the red wire and should be hot all the time. Check it with a multimeter. If you don't have 24 volts on this wire, the problem is either the wiring or the furnace/AC unit isn't supplying 24 volt power. They typically have 120V AC transformers that produce 24v to power the thermostat and sensor wires. You can Google transformer and your model of HVAC system for more info.
Likely have a clogged drain line. Check your float switch.
