This undoubtedly means there is a fault. Try turning the power on and off again, and if that does not fix it you will have to call out a repairer.

SOURCE: red light on power button flashes, but no picture....blank screen

I would suspect a problem in either the backlight assembly, or the power supply that drives it. If it's the power supply, the part may be over $100.

SOURCE: passenger side power window wont roll up

The problem may be in the wiring which if you pull up the carpet on the front passenger side by removing the door floor trim and lifting the carpet you will see the wiring underneath. Probably laying in water or has been. Look for splices in the wiring which will have corroded. Repair the wiring then check the fuse.
Another problem may be in the motor found inside the door. The brushes may have worn out. If so you need to replace the motor. Ususally the drivers side will fail first since it is the most used.

SOURCE: 15in dell monitor model e151fpb

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} Cause of power going off: There is a bad 1000uF, 16V cap on the power supply board.

Solution: Replace cap. Radio Shack sells a 1000uF, 35V cap for $2. This will work.

Why did the cap go bad? The cap is too close to a heat sink and over heated.

What does this cap do? This cap sends a signal to an IC which keeps the monitor 'on' after the power switch is pushed. When the cap is weak, AC ripple voltage is applied to the IC and it sends a signal to shut the monitor off.

Opening the Monitor: These monitors are difficult to open.

The two plastic pieces snap together and must be pried apart with a flat screw driver.

After removing the stand, you need to insert a flat screw driver at the bottom of the screen where two slots are located. Then work the screw driver around until the two plastic pieces are separated.

Remove the cover plate and unscrew the push button circuit board.

Unplug the monitor cords from the driver board and remove the screen.

Unscrew the mounting screws from the power supply board and remove.

You will need to pinch the plastic support in the middle of the board to remove.

Cap Replacement:

Cap is located near a copper heat sink and the value will be on the side of the cap. It will be bulged up on the top. You will see burn marks on the board surrounding the cap. Unsolder the cap.

Install the new cap and solder. Make sure you connect + of the cap to + marked on the board.

Be careful not to solder across joints.

Keep leads long so you can bend the cap as far away from the heat sink as possible.

Reassemble monitor and turn on.

This should solve the problem.

I have an overhead garage door Legacy 496cb/d that stopped 3/4 of the way in the down motion. It now will not open or close and only clicks. The lights work and power is on.

If this picture at the link shown looks like yours, the red and white cord with the red plastic piece needs to be pulled to disconnect the automatic door opening chain.

http://www.aypapaquerico.info/overhead-door-legacy/overhead-door-legacy-large-size-of-garage-and-modern-overhead-garage-replacement-with-legacy-opener-overhead-door-legacy-496cd-b-manual/

Then, pushing the garage door fully open should move the mechanism back to connect in the ceiling. Then the remote control may work. If not, seek a repair service.

Car garrage door opener

smart or learn button is located on the back of the garage door opener. (the machine that is over your head) on most units such as liftmaster, craftsman, chamberlin. its on back or side by the light bulb and is green, yellow, orange/red, purple. genie units are black button behind light cover. or external on old units. push and hold your cars homelink button will blink slow, at the same time push and hold the remote for the garage door. led light in car will blink fast. let both go. now go to the garage door head unit, (overhead) and push the learn button. button will blink and you have 30 sec. to go to car and push the cars garage door button. head unit should flash its light, letting you know that it is programed succesfully. genie units push 3 times

I have 556 overhead door opener. The cable and photo eye are just fine,if I hold the hardwired push button the door will go down, if I use the remote the door will move down a few inches and reverse. How...

The f- and f+ buttons decrease and increase force respectively. The number of times the green light flashes tells you the force level, from one to seven flashes, and then solid green light for maximum force. After a power outage, my door would start down and immediately go back up. Found it with five flashes, and actually solved the problem by decreasing force, to three flashes - with too much force, the door moved too jerkily and the auto-reverse mechanism would kick in. I figured out the f- and f+ buttons by downloading the opener manual in pdf form online at: http://www.overheaddoorpartsonline.com/products/MODEL-%23-556-%26-656-OWNER%27S-MANUAL.html

Good luck!

Overhead light flashes and clicks when i push remote or button. I have to hold down the button for the door to come down completely. Sensors have been changed and light up appropriately.

If the overhead light flashes 10 times and the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem. Make sure the lights on one of the sensors is not blinking ever so slightly or the light is dimmer than the opposite one. Check to make sure they are connected properly. The solid white wires go to terminal #2 and the wires with the black stripe go to terminal #3.

I have a quantum model 3212 serial #3000...fcc id #kj8intrmt...ok im trying to program my garage door to my truck..help please

1. In the vehicle press and hold the two outside buttons until the indicator light begins to flash (after 20 seconds). Release both buttons. Note: Some vehicles may require the ignition switch to be turned to the second (or "accessory") position during the programming process.

2. Hold the end of your handheld transmitter between 1 and 3 inches away from the Homelink surface (located on your visor or overhead console) keeping the indicator light in view.

3. Using both hands, simultaneously push the handheld transmitter button and the desired HomeLink button. DO NOT release the buttons until step 4 has been completed.

4. Hold down both buttons until the indicator light on the HomeLink Wireless Control System flashes, first slowly then rapidly. When the indicator light flashes rapidly, both buttons may be released. (The rapidly flashing light indicates successful programming of the new frequency signal.)

To train your garage door opener.

1. Locate the smart/learn button on the garage door opener motor head unit.

2. Press and immediately release the smart/learn button.

Firmly press and release the programmed HomeLink button. Press and release the HomeLink button a second time to complete the training process. (Some garage door openers may require you to do this procedure a third time to complete the training.)

Hello Friends Creek.
Welcome to Fixya
You said, you used the self cleaning selection on my Admiral Designer Series gas range. The oven went through the complete cycle of 3 hours. You then unlocked the door and was able to open the oven door no problem. Later on you went to use the oven, pushed the bake button and the lock light would flash. And you could not get past that to get the oven to come on.

You did the right thing to turn off the electricity and then turned it back on.
Did you wait 5 minutes before turning the power back on?Or just flick it off and on?
You said, the lock light still blinked.
But did it lockup again?

Please send me the model and year of your range.
