Burnt wire somewhere most likely or faulty receptacle. Being a built in unit will make it difficult to access

SOURCE: Oven cuts out after ten minutes and comes back after cooling down.

The control switch on our AEG B3000, a similar oven, had burned contacts which prevented the fan from running in one selector position where the fan was to run when the heating element cycled off. The tech replaced thermostat which was not problem at all. If the fan does not run in this mode the heat stays at the top of the oven near the thermostat and prevents proper heat build up. Switching to 100% convection fan mode solved problem until switch replaced and all switch positions worked again. Hope technician will now refund for thermostat which was perfectly fine. Always check thermostat in boiling water before replacing.

You can look on eBay to buy a used cooker and use it or spare parts
or if its better replace your own.

SOURCE: AEG Competence Double Fan Oven Fault

Sounds like oven element is faulty, disconnect it and try again, if it does not trip, then it is definately the element..
It is easy to replace.
Plz leave feedback.

SOURCE: AEG Competence Oven not working

If you are certain that the element is o/k, and it is not heating, then thwere are 2 possibilitues.

1- the oven thermostat could be faulty, whereby it is giving a feed to the element.
2-some ovens have a fan only setting, as well as heat and fan, make sure that it is not on a fan only setting.
Hope this helps.

Can you please tell me whether the elements in my Competence D2100-4 are in the top and / or bottom of the oven, or in the sides? Thankyou

If you are just curious and its working turn on for 1 min then (after switching off) have a feel inside.
If it is opened follow the wires.

My AEG competence oven is making a loud buzzing noise coming from the top fan? The food tonight was either burnt or under cooked? The buzzing is also loud when switched off/cooling down? Any ideas please.

I would suspect that the problem is caused by the external cooling fan located under the outside cooker cabinet housing, which continues to operate as the oven is cooling down if it is built in, you will have to remove it from the oven housing to access the fan

The top oven of our AEG D5701-4 is slow to heat.

Hi it could be the element on the grill it maybe burning out, what slows the grill to get hot quicker. best to turn of the mains or by the main switch. and get a toorch to check around the element or use a continental reader check if it is receving 240volts

AEG U7101-4 Top Oven tripping the fuse after a few minutes

It is more than likely the oven element, as it gets
hotter the insulation in the element is breaking down and causing the trip to operate..
Remove the panel at the rear of the oven and you will see the element there, undo the screws and pull the element towards you, carefully, detach the 2 wires and remove the element.
Be careful not to lose the 2 wires behind the oven rear.
Replace with new element.
Cannot give you a part number, you will have to go to aeg web site.
