What does the NTSC U/C designation look like for the playstation 2?

It means that the PS2 can't read the disc. Playstation 2s in the US are NTSC, while those in the UK are PAL. PAL discs can not be played on an NTSC PS2, and NTSC discs can not be played on a PAL console. This is because the consoles are region-locked and you can only play games from the region the PS2 itself was sold in.

ps2 PAL format cannot read NTSC\UC.NTSC\UC is for ps2 that have the logo NTSC\UC in the ps2.

It might be a defect with the disc or the console. If the console plays other games correctly, then it's a problem with the disc. While there is still a warranty on the disc, return it to the store and get another. It happened to me once.

good buddy,if your ps2 is pal then you can only play disc with the region 2 designation only,if you want your ps2 to play other region such as ntsc/uc U.S. or ntsc/j ***.you need to bring it to a certified techman for modding.thats the only way for you to dissolve this problem.

I guess your console is NTSC and your TV or the display you connecting your playstation to is pal or vice versa

What region is your TV? A PAL, NTSC, or is it MULTI? If your TV is NTSC, try a PAL TV, and if its an NTSC, try a PAL one...then if its a MULTI, then you shouldn't have any problems...

The NTSC U/C code should be right beside where it sais Playstation 2 on the top left of the label. On the discs, it is right under the PS logo.

see if the cd is NTCS/UC,NTSC/J or PAL and see what is your ps2 designation see at the back you will see if it is NTSC/UC.
