My tv gose down by it's self the tv is a funai

On your remote control, press MENU.
Highlight Settings with the down arrow button, then push OK.
Press OK after highlighting Television with the down arrow button.
Select TV resolution, then click OK.
Select HD 720p, HD 1080i, or HD 1080p using the arrow buttons.
Click OK.

do you have a hdmi cable connected to the tv?

what are you using for a dvd player?

OPEN THE remote control, and clean the keypads from dirty, corrosion , bad contacts. Please do the same with the contacts batteries, and replace by new ones.

Try using the codes for "Funai". I have an Ilo TV that was handed down to me and couldn't program it to my DTV box. I looked up the origins of Ilo, and they're made by Funai. Their codes worked. If that doesn't work, then dig info on Funai. Best of luck!
