HP PSC 1210 prints fine, but won't make copies anymore.

When I try to make a copy, the copier feeds paper, and makes sounds, but the copy comes out blank.

I know I have ink, because when I print a document off my computer, it comes out fine.

Copier has worked fine for years - until now.

My HP PSC 1210 will not feed the paper through

Try removing the paper and replacing it with a heavier paper > pull out the 20# copy paper and replace it with 24# bond or 60# offset. ( The 24# and 60# are the same weight just different finishes on the surface ). Assuming your paper tray is one that slides in and out, close they tray firmly. Turn the printer off, wait 10 seconds then turn it back on. If the problem is still there, look VERY closely at the edges of the feed tray / compartment. There will be a very thin wire that the paper will depress when it is loaded into the feeder. If that wire gets bent the paper may not reach it to depress it. The printer does not sense any paper if this happens. Bend the wire outward so the paper can depress the sensor switch. Hope this helps.

Print cradle cannot move error

hi,

this seems to be a hardware problem..... anyway try this...

> unplug the powerchord
> open the rear access door, and check whether there is any paper jammed or any bit of paper or thread stuck inside.... if so remove it
> clean the rollers using a lint free cloth
> close the rear access door
> open the door so that you will get full access to the cartridges...
> move the cartridges to and fro for several times manually with your hand
> close the door
> plug the power chord
> try again to copy multiple pages

thanks and regards

HP psc 1210 will not print

Hi,

Please check the printer status at control panel printer properties if it is offline or ready. Restart your computer if necessary, you will notice all pending jobs will be printed as long as there is no problem with the connections of cables and drivers. Note: Do not cancel printing jobs in the middle of sending data mode to printer or queing instead you have to remove all papers on tray and wait for the error "paper out or empty" then there click Cancel. Hopes this helps.
