SIM cards are a standard and thefore will fit into your cell phone.
If the cell phone is locked to a particular cell phone service provider, it will reject the SIM card that is not from their company, the cell phone needs to be unlocked from that company.

Please can you assist with a polaroid gps kids watch, sim card was registered previous and no other sim card wants to work

Hello, Nicolene -

To clarify what you are asking about . . .

The SIM card you have for a Polaroid GPS Kid Tracker Smart Wristwatch has been registered by a previous owner? Or, do you mean you registered the SIM card and it does not work with the watch you have?

Just in case . . . this is the link to the Installation Guide for the Polaroid GPS Kid Tracker Smart Wristwatch:
https://kidssmartgpswatch.com/pages/faq

If the SIM card you are trying to use in the watch was registered previously by someone else, then, you either need to find out how to change that registration or you need to register a new, different SIM card.

I suggest you contact the manufacturer and ask your questions:
[email protected]

By the way, your question landed in the Fixya category for Polaroid Cell Phones.

Best wishes.

How do you know what slot to put sim card in slot 1 or slot 2

You either have a dual SIM card phone (it can use two SIMs with two different phone numbers) or you're confusing the MicroSD memory card slot with the SIM card slot.

If you truly have a dual SIM card phone, just put the SIM card in slot 1. Your phone's user manual should be able to offer further info.

Show your memory card location

Remove the back cover by holding the phone firmly then slide in the back cover of the handset. You will now see your MicroSD and SIM card slots. Take your SIM card and slide it into the slot provided with the chip facing down. You will also see a small diagram showing you which way to insert the SIM card. Now slide open your MicroSD memory card slot gate, pop your MicroSD memory card into the slot, then close the MicroSD memory card slot gate by sliding it forward then backwards.

Emergency calls only and not showing service provider

sounds like either your sim card isnt inserted correctly, or the slots arent turned on. sim card slot 2 is the slot closest to the phone, gold chip faces up, sim card slot one is slightly elevetaed off the phone, gold chip faces down. make sure it is inserted all the way down. perss fimly. then go to SETTINGS>DUAL SIM SETTINGS>DUAL SIM OPEN>CLICK OK. This opens up both sim card slots. after you find out which slot you are going to use, you can repeat these steps and only have opened the one you are using.

I cant get my new cect i 9 to turn on

It sounds like you dont have the sim card inserted properly. slot to the meatl chip is facing up and all the wy down touching the circuit board. sim 1 slot metal chip is facing down and elevated the width of a sim card off the circuit board. If that doesnt work...

1.) Shut down the phone, remove the SIMS, and replace them back in the slots in the
correct manner again. It may just be that the SIMS aren't in correctly, not pushed far enough
into the slot, or their metal grid isn't making good contact with the SIM's slot pins. Try to
wedge a tiny piece of paper, placed against the side of the SIM without the metal contacts,
between the phone and the SIM so it makes the SIM's metal contact points fit up against the
phone's SIM slot contacts a little more snugly.
2.) Try just switching the SIM(s) to a different slot in the i9 and test again.
3.) Try the SIM(s) in another phone if you can. Though not happening too often, SIMs can go
bad, sometimes working erratically, and can actually be the cause of many odd issues which can
be very hard to diagnose the SIM as the true cause.
4.) Take the SIM out and clean the metal contacts on the back using an ordinary pencil eraser.
5.) Try to get yet a second or third SIM to try in the phone. The more the merrier ... well not
really but you never know, the more SIMs you try the more reliable the testing.

Just got a i9 phone want to insert the sim card

it doesnt matter which one you use. if you place it on the far bottem and with the chip facing up that is sim card slot 2 if you use the top slot actually elevated off the board a bit with the chip down that is sim card slot 2. the only thing that matters is when you set up your phone it gives you the option of sim 1 OR 2. I use sim 1 and have my 2 disabled. it will tell you once its inserted which one you are in on the front display exampl it will say sim 1 t-mobile. go to i9forum.com for detailed on this phone.
