A metal detector is an electronic device which detects the presence of the metal objects nearby. Metal detectors are useful for detect metal objects to hidden within objects, and relic objects buried underground. LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
If you are looking for gold or other precious metals that are buried deeper than one meter, you need a 2-box metal detector. Unlike traditional coin detectors, which are made to find smaller individual items, a ground two-box metal detector can penetrate the earth using special search coils that transmit signals. https://detectorly.com/key-things-consider-purchasing-metal-detector-beach
SOURCE: In general, how deep will a good metal detector find coins?
As long as
you use your detector properly and set the sweep speeds correctly, you should
be able to get to the following depths on average; Dime/ Nickel
- 4-8 inches Quarter/Half
Dollar - 6-12 inches Dollar
- 8-16 inches
In most cases, one metal detector will do it all except for specialized situations. So nugget detectors and underwater ones wont be good for more geneal detecting.

Some metal detectors are trained to detect a degree of depth which is fairly simple. Depending on its range, this is decided. If it is a low range it can detect around 5 to 10 cm while a medium range can detect almost double by reaching between 10 and 15 cm. They can be up to 25 to 35 cm deep in case of high range. You can get it from Destination Gold Detectors, which was bought at a good price by one of my friends from this site.
