I am subscribed to the services of IPTV, that allows viewers watching all the available TV channels and charges amount of subscription thereto. You would only require to arrange a fast internet connection in order to get all the television channels and other contents like 'video on demand' whenever necessary.
There is basically 3 things you need to get internet media on tv.
1. Internet
2. Internet Media player (built in on smart tv, but you can get a separate device, like a blue ray with apps, a game console, or any internet media player)
3. Tv.
You can connect a smart tv directly to wifi through tv settings/network. I recommend hardwire/Ethernet, wifi network adapters on tvs are normally slow and fluctuate a lot.
Alternatively, to can connect a media player to your internet (wifi or Ethernet) and then connect the tv to media player (hdmi, composite, coaxial)
There's a lot of missing information. Does your TV have wireless WiFi capability? If not, then there is no way to connect to the internet. Do you have a wireless router? Without this information containing makes and models, it's difficult to give a meaningful answer.
