The red standby light on your TV is still on when the TV is turned off indicating that the TV is on standby mode and the red standby light is turned off when the TV is being used or doesn't have power.

If the set is powered up, you can try resetting it to factory defaults. Yes, any of these suggestions may not work but one of them might fix your problem. You might try searching for tips by including the model number in the search.
