The date and time are upsided down on my jvc camcorder, can you help in restoring this to the normal way

To rotate the DVD screen display, hold down the MODE button or DISPLAY MODE button (depends on model) while a DVD is playing to turn the picture right-side up.

It might be the flex wire connecting LCD with camcorder responsable. What happens when you turn the LCD on the other side?
