My Panasonic home phone won't let me block unknown numbers it still lets the call come through what can I do

The KX_TGA204C handset is compatible with a few different Panasonic cordless phone bases, including the KX-TG4011C. Unfortunately, you can't block incoming calls at the phone. This phone system does not have a Call Block list option. You might be able to get your telephone service to block incoming phone numbers for a fee.

Unknown callers should have a number that appears with no name - these can be blocked post call or in the Settings/Phone/Blocked Callers section. Unknown calls with no number can only be blocked from the carrier side - you would have to contact your provider.

THIS can present real problems and become a MAJOR pain because you must keep your computer UP AND RUNNING 24-7 and more...

Also there are software managements like finding the program that allows you to ADD and REMOVE blocked numbers... then there are all the WIRES to interface correctly... NO fun at all and YOU will never recover all of the many hours you wasted. and that part is SO important.

Instead I highly recommend a eBay search for a used PANASONIC KX-TGE430... I purchased mine with 3 handsets for under $50! eBay... I KNOW!

Yep, you can block numbers from your remote phones too with a 3 button pushes... how fine is that?

The ONE thing I DON'T like about it is BLOCKED NUMBERS are allowed ONE RING and there is no way to set that to zero rings... the Caller ID still shows you who is calling as well.

This auction says it only blocks 100 numbers but the PANASONIC Site says 250 Numbers!

it could be possible that the caller is blocking their number. It should show as "unknown" or something like that, maybe even "private". In either case, the person being called would not control the callers sent number, it would be the Telco on the other end

you cannot do this for free and i havnt heard of anyone anywere to be able to do this im sorry you will just have to ignore this is you find some one some were to do this let me know i would be really intrested
