Yes and no. You can have a regular ptt number like the iden's allthough you have to ask Sprint to give you a number like the IDEN. Otherwise they will automatically make your ptt # the same as your MDN (phone number) IDEN ptt's are like this. ex. 176*4567*56

Im trying to connect my i335 to my computer but it wont connect what can i do

You can hook that phone to the computer, but there's nothing at all to do with it. That phone is so basic there isn't anything a computer can do for it.

If you want to use it as a modem from IDEN network. You need to get the IDEN modem drivers from Motorola then have your computer dial S=#777 That's the boost mobile, iden server number to dial too

Please my motorola i335 was a boost mobile cell phone. I will like to change it to another network.for example MTN. So that if I put an MTN sim card, it will connect. That is decode from Boost mobile.

Any phone that runs off the IDEN network will ONLY work on the iden network. It's physically impossible to use it on any other service.

Iden is such a weak signal that's only like 800mhz. There's no way ever to use it on anything other...

Technically the I335 was only designed for professional use which is why it has push to talk and 'rugged' design.

What is IDEN Phone Number? how can i find it?

Integrated Digital Enhanced Network (iDEN) is a wireless technology that was developed in 1994 by Motorola. An iDEN handset can function as a cellular phone, radio, pager, fax, speaker phone, and mobile Internet browser. iDEN handsets can store data from an office, or they can be used to download data from the user's computer.

One attractive feature of the iDEN unit is the fact that it can be programmed to respond to one's voice. Units with iDEN support can also function as Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers, enabling users to navigate efficiently. Some features, however, do not work with all providers. In addition, as with ordinary mobile phones, not all areas have the same features. On the other hand, phone, radio, and fax services function in all areas.

Since the carrier provides most of the functionality on standard mobile phones, users might strain customer service in this regard. This is true despite the fact that iDEN phones get most of their secondary functionality from the model, not from a carrier unit.

I bought a motorola i335 and i want to use my tmobile sim card hiw do i unbloc the phone without the nextel plan

It's impossible to use Tmobile on an iden phone. Iden and GSM based signals are 2 totally separate signals.

Iden is it's own private network that only iden phones can work on. Their not cross compatible at all.

How do you unlock a motorola i335 from boost mobile?

You can't. Iden phones are only compatible with the iden network. They aren't gsm based phones. Iden is a totally separate network all by it's self.

So it's physically impossible to use an iden phone on a gsm signal

Can boost mobile sim work in a pro 700

Hi,

PRO 700 DOES NOT USE SIM CARDS! instead like the other sprint phones it uses the ESN/MEID number on the back. Just call sprint and tell them you want to do an ESN SWAP or SWITCH TO A NEW PHONE and they will ask you for the number under the battery. They will also walk you through activating everything including Direct Connect. It is as fast as Nextel traditional Direct Connect but it has a MUCH LARGER COVERAGE AREA FOR VOICE AND DIRECT CONNECT. Soon these phones will take control and the whole IDEN network Nextel uses will be converted to CDMA (sprints High Speed Network).

Can not connect using usb cable from computer to i9

I think i may have had a similar problem getting error around the lines of "Unable to access application data". What worked for me was, restarting my computer and opening the IDEN loader program on my computer first, then i plugged the cable into my phone this seemed to stop the error. i also had to make sure the USB connection was set to Application Access
