My keyboard will only type numbers not letters when activating Quark 7

Alan, good day.
no PC told, makers name and model ( and super hard to guess me)
quark 7 is an app for word press. i guess and is unrelated. !
no OS told, at all, windows (what V) MAC, android, Chrome, Linux?
what OS?
does the keyboard work in BIOS correctly then the keyboard is ok and the unstated OS is a wreck. or , (ESP day)

the keyboard has 104 keys are you saying the all fail, NO.
bingo below (MY ESP)
or just the KEYPAD right side is wrong,(below numlock)
but a 104 keyboard, PAD never does letters. ever on the PAD !!!

so this must be (unstated) undersized laptop? that has those horrid,
key PADS stuffed into the main A to Z board. set.
and those are a pain, they have 3 levels, via FN key use.
the manual on your PC shows who to USE the KEYPAD
it shows on some how to set the way it works in BIOS settings
one cure easy is buy external real keyboard 104 keys.
bingo;
or learn to use yours, via RTM read the manual, there are special Fn keys to use, no 2 PC do this same way, ever. (brand/model)

got a PC like this,??? with super undersized keyboard.
NO PC TOLD I guess and show this. a prime example
the blue letters on this kbd , mean virtual keyPAD

Where is tip key on casio te-2200

Hi. Just saw your question.
The tip button is not a standard button on the keyboard but can be added if you have the keyboard layout tables with the key codes. It is part of keyboard programming in the dealer manual. Casio don't give it out but you can get a copy of the special dealer manual at C-tech:

How to function Fn

Step 1:
The purpose of a laptop's function key is to activate the secondary function of any dual-purpose key. The function key can accidentally be locked into place if you hit the wrong combination of keys so that all of the keys only perform their secondary function. The exact process for unlocking the function key will vary depending on the make and model of your laptop and whether you have recently used an external keyboard.

Check the manual that came with your laptop and locate the section on the function of each keyboard key. Open a Web browser and navigate to the support section of the laptop manufacturer's website if you do not have the manual that originally came with your laptop. Use the drop-down menus on the support page to choose the specific product line and then model of your laptop. Click on the "Product Support" link and then navigate to the "Manuals" section of the page. Click on the link to open a PDF version of the manual for your laptop. Browse down to the section about the functions of the keyboard keys. Find the sequence of keys you need to press to unlock the function key on your laptop. Press and hold the function key on the keyboard and then press the other keys required to unlock it. Try using the most standard keyboard combinations if you don't have the manual or it does not give any information about the function key. Press the function key and then the shift key and see if it successfully unlocks the function key. Attempt using the other standard keys in conjunction with the function key, such as the "F11," "F12" and "Ctrl" keys. Plug a USB keyboard into the USB port on your laptop if you have recently used an external keyboard with the laptop. Check the light above the "Numlock" key on the external keyboard and see if it is turned on. Press the key and make sure the light is turned off and then remove the keyboard to unlock the function key.

Dial up connection ends in error code 720, can't connect to the internet. Using a back-up pc that is terribly slow. would like to fix pc.

Error 720 - the connection attempt failed because your computer and the remote computer could not agree on PPP control protocol.

To resolve this issue, uninstall the TCP/IP protocol, remove the second WAN Miniport IP device, and then reinstall the TCP/IP protocol. To do so, follow these steps:
  1. Uninstall the TCP/IP protocol. To do so:
    1. In Control Panel, double-click Network and Dial-up Connections, right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
    2. Under Components checked are used by this connection, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click Uninstall.
    3. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall TCP/IP.
    4. Restart the computer when prompted, but click No if you are prompted to allow Windows to enable a protocol.
  2. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
  4. On the View menu, click Show hidden devices.
  5. Under Network adapters, there should be no WAN Miniport IP devices. If a WAN Miniport IP device is listed, continue to the following step. If no WAN Miniport IP device is listed, go directly to step 16.
  6. Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.

  1. Locate the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
  2. On the Registry menu, click Export Registry File, type backup-key in the File name box, and then click Save.

Note You can restore the changes that you make to this registry key. To do so, double-click the backup-key.reg file that you saved.
  3. Click each of the registry subkeys under this key, and then view the Data column of the DriverDesc value to determine which of the subkeys corresponds to WAN Miniport (IP). For example, the 0005 subkey.
  4. Right-click the subkey whose DriverDesc value data is WAN Miniport (IP) (for example, right-click 0005), and then click Delete. Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the key.
  5. Quit Registry Editor.
  6. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  7. Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
  8. On the View menu, click Show hidden devices.

  10. Reinstall the TCP/IP protocol. To do so:
    1. In Control Panel, double-click Network and Dial-up Connections, right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
    2. Click Install.
    3. In the Select Network Component Type dialog box, click Protocol, and then click Add.
    4. Under Network Protocol, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click OK.
    5. When the protocol is installed, click Close.
  11. Reset the modem by turning the power off and then on, or for an internal modem, restart the computer.
  12. Test your Internet connectivity.

Certain keys not working on zboard

remove the plug from the back of the motherboard (Purple)
Check the prongs inside of the male connector for damage and/or dirt.
all of those are TX and RX protocols which talk to your machine and send the events back and fourth.
If that does not work, it is due to water inside the mainboard of the keyboard. replace.
