SOURCE: How do you replace a flow switch in a spa, or hot tub

turn off the power to the spa. remove the cabinet under the topside remote to expose the equipment compartment. You should see the flow switch, it's usually a threaded 3/4" plug with a single grey wire coming out of it. Most of them are threaded into a tee or a special transparent fitting. If the water level in the spa is above the flow switch, you may have to drain the spa down unless you're very fast about getting the new switch in. Unthread the old switch and thread the new one in. Follow the wire on the old one to the spa pack. You'll have to remove the screws on the cover to expose the circuit board. Follow that wire into the spa pack to see where on the circuit board that it is plugged in. It may be good to run the new wire to have in place as soon as you unplug the old one you can install the new one with no question as to where it plugs in.

Reinstall the cover on the spa-pack and turn the main power back on. Make sure that the arrows on the new flow switch are facing the correct direction (direction of flow). Once you have the spa on and it starts back up, run everything to check for leaks and proper operation. If the flow switch was the only problem, all your faults should be cleared and you should be in good shape. If there are no leaks, you can reinstall the cabinet panel.

The new switch should already have teflon tape on the threads, if not, use teflon tape, apply the tape in the direction as if you were threading a nut onto the threads. You only need a few wraps of teflon tape, too much can crack the fitting you threat the new flow switch in to.

SOURCE: how do I tell if my spa is in standard mode

I don't think this unit has a switch between economy and standard, it must always be in standard mode. Below is filter cycle programming in case you need that info.

Filter Cycle Programming
The first filter cycle begins six minutes after the spa is energized. The second filter cycle begins 12 hours later. Filter duration is programmable at the Master Control Pad for 2, 4, 6, 8 hours or for continuous filtration, (indicated by
"FC"). The default filter time is two hours. To program, press "Temp", then "Jets." Press "Temp" to adjust. Press "Jets" to exit programming.

SOURCE: the breaker for my hot tub will not stay on. Could the breaker be bad?

Circuit breakers do wear out. The GFCI could also be bad. If it is neither of those the Hi Limit sensor may have failed, it is a safety switch which prevents normal operation of the spa if not functioning correctly. There could possibly be another electrical fault, the heater element could be compromised.

My spa is at 89 and its set for 104 and the pump will not cut on what is the problem

You may be in economy mode. Economy only heats the water during a programmed filter cycle. You want it to be in standard mode which turns on the hot tub once the water is 2 degrees below the desired temperature. There should be a mode or program button on your topside. One some systems you'll have to hit prog/mode button then the temp up button to change the mode. There is also a sleep mode. Never used it not sure what it's for.

In econ mode my 1998 spaform hot tub does not appear to heat but it is ok in standard mode.

in the economy mode it will only maintain a temperature so that it will not freeze. Economy mode is mostly for vacation time or for winter if you are not going to be using the hot tub for an extended period of time.
Put it into the standard mode and you will be able to have a HOT tub and will function as it should
