The wasp sting has probably affected your lymph nodes. If you have NO other symptoms such as hives, a rash, or difficulty breathing or swallowing, it should abate soon. You should initially go to a pharmacy and ask for a suitable antihistamine.

If the pain increases, or does not subside in a day or 2, or you notice any other symptoms at all, go immediately to a doctor or emergency.

Why do i get mouth ulcers soon after quitting alcohol

Alcohol affects vitamin absorption. You possibly are suffering from a lack of B vitamin and/or zinc. The sores are likely canker sores which are not contagious and should heal within a week. Mayo Clinic: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/canker-sore/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20370620

Apply ice to your canker sores by allowing ice chips to slowly dissolve over the sores. Brush your teeth gently, using a soft brush and foaming-agent-free toothpaste such as Biotene or Sensodyne ProNamel. A dentist or doctor could disagnose this condition. If it persists, there are additional treatments. This material has been gleaned from the medical site above. I am not a doctor.

Hello Linda,

If I were you, I would call the doctors / nurses office, explain your symptoms to them and see what they tell you to do.

Please take care & stay safe.

Can brown recluse spider bites cause dizziness or vertigo

hi Richard.
Brown recluse spider bite The pain associated with a brown recluse spider bite typically increases during the first eight hours after the bite. You may also have fever, chills and body aches. The bite usually heals on its own in about a week. In a minority of cases, the skin at the center of the bite can become dark blue or purple and then evolve into a deep open sore (ulcer) that enlarges as the surrounding skin dies. The ulcer usually stops growing within 10 days after the bite, but full healing can take months.
Seek prompt medical care in the following situations:
  • You are unsure whether the bite was from a poisonous spider.
  • The person who was bitten experiences severe pain, abdominal cramping or a growing ulcer at the bite site.
  • The person who was bitten is having problems breathing.
Your doctor may recommend a tetanus booster shot if you haven't had one in the last five years.

Why won,t my sores heal on my arms or buttocks ?

Best to check with your doctor. It is not recommended to apply creams without analyzing the pathology of the sores. You might need a simple diet change and not any creams. Sometimes these are allergies or blood related rather than superficial skin eruptions.

My son has a sore throat very often. What is the cause?

A sore throat can be a sign of infection but isn't always. Allergies, smoke and pollution are just some of the other things that can cause redness and swelling.

You can use lozenges and pain relief but if it doesn't get any better or you get a fever you should see your doctor.
