Unit does not make outgoing calls nor receive incoming calls. Display seems OK but tiny vertical bar top RH corner doesn't flash 9should it?). Unit is fully charged. Trying to call IT from cellphone gives "not Allowed" message on cellphone. I've lost the user manual but I have (I think) reset both the base station and the handset.

if your phone doesn't have incoming call barring and outgoing call barring, You can try this.

For outgoing call barring dial *33*barcode*# and pres OK.

To deactivate it dial #33#barcode*#.

I am sure this solution will help you, Just follow the steps.
1- Go into the settings and find the option of call barring usually its in call settings option. 2- Then you find the option of deactivate barring on all outgoing & incoming calls select yes and if it ask you any code or password then its 0000 by default or your sim pin code if you haven't changed. 3- After deactivating barring of incoming and outgoing calls, your phone can make and receive calls.

Do not disturb is on. it is activated using the shortcoe *08 and deactivated using the shortcode *09

hi i cant get send of receive messages or calls its saying that i need a 4 digit call barring code for outgoing and incoming calls.

Please make sure your outgoing and incoming calls are not barred.
go to settings
go to call settings
go to call barring
and check the status of your outgoing and incoming calls.
There is also a line 1 and line 2 facility. Make sure you are using Line 1
