Epsom salts are very good for joint pains. Add a cup or so to a steaming hot bath and soak for about 20 minutes, making sure sore body parts are submerged in the water. Epsom salts penetrate through your skin and reach muscles and joints, relaxing them. Although not the same, after a tough workout many people turn to Epsom salts to soothe aches and pains. As well as Epsom salts, although this may seem like a silly answer; drinking a plentiful amount of water throughout the day works WONDERS on the body and can aid in the healing of almost anything. Try the Epsom salt soak and increasing your daily water intake!

Pain in shoulders

image-aqwqsbv5ypjcpinr03qhgqbv-1-0.jpg Hello Friend,
Sorry to hear about your shoulders, as feeling pain is no fun yet a very important tool for your body to have and use in telling us that something is out of balance.
A few things to know ...
1) Your Body ALWAYS tells the truth and absolutely no one knows your body better than you!
2) Yet if there is doubt then by all means seek the suggestions of a trusted health professional.
In helping your shoulders it is important to understand that they are connected to your hips. If your hips are off then everything else will be off too. There's Universal Health Tip #1 .... Stretching ... Stretch Stretch Sssttttrrreeetttccchhh
every day. We all know how to stretch yet have not necessarily been taught to do so as a consistent and wholistic health maintenance plan. Enclosed in this referral link are exercises to help with your shoulder.

What can i do about neck osteoarthritis pain

You first need to determine that it is the osteoarthritis that is the source of the pain. Certainly degenerated joints can be a source of pain. However, often times simply addressing the findings associated with OA are enough to eliminate/diminish pain. Findings like joint stiffness, muscle tightness etc. need to be addressed. No medicine/therapy will get rid of the OA, however, OA of the spine is a normal part of the aging spine...therefore does not have to be painful. Address the findings, and you will likely feel better.

Plenty of disciplines can help you treating OA of the neck. Chiropractors (https://propelactive.com/our-services/chiropractic/) have a number of tools in their tool belt that can address every finding associated with cervical spine OA. Rehabilitation programs (https://propelactive.com/condition-specific-group-exercise-programming/neck-shoulder-pain-program/) can be quite helpful with relieving symptoms and keeping you pain-free.

Motorcycle neck and shoulder pain for back passanger

Talk to a chiropractor about the way you hold on. I discovered (front seat) that lowering your elbows releases tension on your neck and shoulders. I try to ride like that all the time, now, and find I can easily do 3 or 4 times the saddle time I used to. My rear
gets sore way before my neck & shoulders, from that one simple tip.

What are some simple exercises I can do using a medicine ball?

There are so many uses for a medicine ball. I have found a couple of very simple exercises you can do. The first is called the "woodchopper". Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and hold the medicine ball above your head. Then bend forward at your waist and bring the ball down between your legs. Here is what it should look like:

A second exercise you can do is called a "squat to press". Stand straight holding the ball. Next you need to bend your knees and lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Then you need to drive your heels into the floor and push your body back to the starting position and bring the ball up over your head. Here is what this exercise should look like:

There are so many more exercises, I highly recommend researching them online or contacting a trainer for assistance.
