I can't access my Yahoo Inbox but others can access theirs...

If you are unable to access your yahoo mail account or facing an issue to access your yahoo account then just do some simple steps and solve our issue.
1) Sign in yahoo account.
2) Go to settings.
3) click on accounts from the left panel.
4) create one extra email address.
5) Enter an email address in the required option.
6) In the last step, you will get the code. Put that code in the required field.

24-Hour Wait

A Yahoo account holder must wait up to 24 hours before accessing the account again.
The lock on the account expires within 24 hours from the time the account was locked.

Unlock Using Another Server Since Yahoo! has many servers around the world, a user can log into his account by visiting a different Yahoo server address. (See Below.)

If you don't have an account, click "Sign Up" near the top of the page, fill out the registration form and submit the information.

I had this problem before but after a few hours the emails went back. The inbox says empty but when I click the inbox there are emails.

If the emails did not come back, wait for the response of Yahoo customer service they might solve your issue, or it might be a problem on their server.

In the meantime, change your yahoo password because someone might have also found your yahoo id and password then deleted the messages.

I hope you get a response from yahoo to get your emails back.

Either remake a yahoo account or make an other email account such as gmail and hotmail.

I can't login on my yahoo to email

This is a very common problem. Upgrading you iphone firmware if it's not current may solve this problem. Or try changing your address for the account from [email protected]" to your yahoo id without the "@yahoo.com"

Otherwise the built-in yahoo option for iphone can be buggy:

1. Delete the Yahoo account on your iphone
2. Create anew account via Other option
3. Fill in the usual user id and password fields
   
4. Under IMAP tab set Host Name under Incoming Mail Server to imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com
5. Under Outgoing Mail Server, in Host Name field set it to cwmx.com

If you have a very large yahoo inbox, you may have to do the following:

1. Go to your yahoo account in a regular browser on your computer. Makesure you're using the new version of Yahoo mail (the one that looks andfeels like outlook).

2. Create a new folder. I called mine "archive - inbox".

3. Select ALL emails in your inbox so that your inbox folder will becompletely empty once you move them (there's a box you can check whichwill select everything). I had over 5,000 emails in my inbox, so thiswould have taken ages using the Classic version of Yahoo mail.

4. Move all emails to your newly created archive folder. Go back intothe archive folder and select any unread/new emails and move them backto your inbox.

5. Go into Yahoo on your iphone and refresh the mail. This will clearout the old emails and download the most recent emails from your inbox.
