Hi. We have an NEC IP4WW-24TXH-A-TEL. The top red light keep flashing. Please help?

I think its always busy because it has a fault on that handset or its cradle. Swap the 2 over, and see if the problem moves to the new location, if it does the handset or cradle is faulty.

System Reset on Page No. 2-509 of the manual:
Dial 1 + press HOLD (Press Hold key only to cancel)

You need to replace the silver battery on the xfui card.
Also ensure to upgrade the main software to the latest version

We may need to know the exact system you are using and the model of phone.

Also we will need to know the group number the system is using for night mode. Normally group number 601 is day and 602 is night. If you call 602 that would ring the phones currently in night. Also you can try calling at night and watch the screen of the phone that rings if its a smaller screen phone press the info button while its ringing and one of the options will show the night ring group number as well.

For the NEC you will need to have an NEC Technician enable this in programming or if you were given all the manuals when you purchased the system you can enable this option in the Class of Service area in programming.
