Lights flashing with beeps - no go with switch on
Issue most likely with defective electronic board component. Almost ALL models of home kettles are NOT designed to be user repairable. If under warranty, return for repair. If not, you can try opening the unit and looking for a solder gap or other obvious problem. Do you have the knowledge and diagnostic gauge to check the individual bits? My guess, it is a bad chip/resistor/sensor. Component replacement only cure.

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too. Check out yr user's manual.

SOURCE: the kettle will not get hot!
We disassembled the kettle and noticed that the black wire had been disconnected from the base connector which is attached to the heating element. We re-attached the wire clip to the harness and it heated up on the first try. Please note that you may need to crimp the wire connector to the base for a stronger hold. My guess is that as we were moving the unit back and forth the wire connector had seperated.

sounds like the element has died. If it's still under warranty, take it back. If it's not under warranty, contact an electrician or appliance repair person. Unless it's an expensive kettle though, it's probably not worthwhile fixing, as elements can sometimes be as expensive as a new kettle

maybe the batteries in your key fab are going bad do your doors still lock when you use the key fab
SOURCE: kettle does not heat up
Just had the same problem. One of the thermostats is probably bad. In my case I replaced both and the heating elements because it was more cost effective. Aside from the drive motor not much else can go wrong. In my case it was worth the $200.00 to replace these items instead of $825.00 for a new kettle.
