I'm trying to install Google App Store on my Coby Kyros mid7125. I get the app installed, but when I open it, it says I need to set up an account on my tablet, and would I like to that now? When I click yes, the app shuts down. I have tried to set up the account through my Account settings, and I find that I cannot access my Account and Sync settings. I have verified that the .apk file is installed, and even re-installed. Yet, when I try to access it, nothing comes up!
Can anyone tell me what's going on, and how to fix this problem?
I would start by rebooting the device if you haven't already. Also go into your settings, Applications and select All applications if you can. Fin your application you use to download and install apps with, such as the Play store. Clear out the cache. Now try to download again that should fix it.

coby doesnt not have licensing with google so by default it doesn't come with google play, but an off brand app store. it is feasible to do so but requires some knowledge on how to 'root' the tablet.
Coby no longer uses GetJar, I would download 1mobile.com's - http://www.1mobile.com they have an app store that has an updated version of Amazon App Store.
All Android apps are files downloaded from the Play Store. The app file name is "com.android.vending" and it is found in this path : sdcard/Android/data.
The suggested method is to copy that file from an Android device (phone or tablet) to a SD or microSD card and move that card to your device. You can use the "My Files" app (folder icon) to go there and see it, then copy it
A word of caution: Many Android apps may not work with the Android version of your device because the manufacturer may have a modified Android operating system. I discovered this on my Lenovo ThinkPad which had its own version of downloading apps. I loaded this file and "Google Play Store" was working, but sometimes stopped.
Root and install Google apps and Market, if you haven't done so already. There are easy to follow step-by-step instructions in this and other forums, tailored for this (Coby 7015) tablet.
I flashed Watery Kyros. V1.1 on my tablet; that improved it!!! Specially the TS. You can find it here and in other forums.
I use Dolphin HD, Miran (sp? ) and Skyfire browsers and have not had any trouble accessing any of my email accounts.
Read the warnings and follow the instructions carefully. Flash at your own risk!
