How do i do a hard reset on my Acer aspire 5349 model zrl

Here is the link to your service manual, when you click on it and bring it up...it is a pdf file so you'll need adobe or another pdf reader, go to page 40, that is the directions for resetting and removing the BIOS/hard drive password. Good luck

Hopefully you just shut down the "RADIO" and a switch will turn it back on.

Look on the far left hand sideand there is a row of buttons.

Just to the left of the CAPS LOCK button is a switch for the wireless to turn on and off.

When you get it back up and running download and save the instructions at this site.

I had the same issue and took it in to a tech because I couldn't get it apart. They said it would be $150 for the replacement part plus shipping and labor would end up being around $300. I ended up buying a new laptop. I had a friend try to take it apart who builds computers. He couldn't do it either. I would take it in. Maybe you'll find a better deal than I did.

Do a system restore before this happened might work, hook external keyboard to the laptop if no change, if external works, there is a problem with the laptop keyboard or bad device driver.
