Re: My tablet gigaset qv 830 keeps freezing doesn't turn...
It sounds like your tablet is going bad. It is not worth repairing. You can find low a low cost replacement very easily. The new Amazon Fire tablet is one option. You can find them for $50 or sometime less when they are on sale. It would be a good upgrade from what you are currently using.

Best bet is to reset the Nabi...hold the power button in for about 8 seconds. The tablet will shut down and restart. Unless you've dropped the Nabi (hard, my kids drop it often) it should restart and behave.
Very strange problem. Never heard of this before. Have you updated to the latest iOS? That would be my first suggestion. You may also want to try completely closing Safari and then reopen. You can close down an app by double clicking the home button and then either press and hold on the app till it 'shakes' (iOS6) or simple swipe upwards (iOS7).
If that doesnt work you can try shutting down the entire iPad by pressing and holding the top button for more than 3 seconds. The swipe the red bar that says shut down. Then count to 10 and press and hold the top button again to turn back on the iPad.
If all that fails you can try restoring from an old backup from your computer (backups usually happen when you sync physically with your computer or if you have auto backup over wifi enabled)
hard reset the device OK, you have noticed the strange behavior of your iPad / iPad 2 or even new iPad 3. It tends to freeze for about a few seconds every minute or is running too slow or something else. This is probably the best time for the hard reset of the tablet. To make things easy follow simple sequence:
Make sure your iPad /iPad 2 / iPad 3 battery is charged above 20% (we would recommend at least 50 - 60 %). If you are not sure charge you tablet for at least 40 minutes.
Make sure your Apple tablet is in Power On state.
Watching the shining screen of iconic tablet with apps' icons on it press and hold down the Wake/Sleep and the Home buttons simultaneously, ignore the red slide "to power off", just keep both buttons holding until the Apple logo appears. This logo is the signal that the hard reset has succeeded. Be patient, some times the hard restart of iPad may take up to 10 - 15 minutes. But such a long restart is a rare case.
Be sure that hard reset retains all data and settings on iPad, it doesn't delete anything. If you want to start over and delete all personal data from iPad you should use iPad Recovery Mode.
