This usually indicates an electronic oven control board failure. It could also indicate a failure of the sensor probe, one of the elements, or the wiring. Try turning off the power for a while, 10 minutes or longer. If the problem persists when power is reapplied and none of the keys respond, you need to unplug the range (or shut off the power at the circuit breaker). Then usually you need to replace the oven control board and overlay. If you post the full model number of your range, I may be able to check for the appropriate replacement part.
I hope this helps. Kenmore appliances with 790 were manufactured by Whirlpool.

Thank you very much. I lost power for three days during Hurricane Matthew. When the power was restored, the stove had a long beep and I got the nCAL code. Have shut off power and unplugged it for more than 10 minutes. The stove top controls and burners work. The oven, cleaning, clock controls beep when pressed. Since Whirlpool manufactures Kenmore products, can they service them as well. I am having issues with Sears and not happy with them. Was given an Oct 26 service date and they called and rescheduled to Nov 15. I find this to be unreasonable. The exact Model Number is: Kenmore Elite 790.4101. HELP!!!!!
