DVD/VCR Locked My daewoo dvd/vcr combo player is locked. How do I unlock it so that I can play dvd's again? My model number is DV6TS811N.

    I need to unlock my Daewoo DF-4700P dvd player, have looked all over thr net bur cannot find a code?

    Oour daewoo dvd/vcr combo has locked itself and we can't use it - I tried holding the power button for 5 seconds but it didn't work

My DVD/VCR Daewoo locked and everytime i pressed a button it just said LOCK! I plugged off the vcr for a few hours and then plugged it back in and pressed the on button. Now im watching the dvd that was stuck inside. Try it, you just never know.

According to the manual, pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds or more toggles the lock/unlock mode.

My Sony DVD/VCR combo will play cds but not dvds. I took the top of the player off and I can see that the dvd spins but it won't play. It used to play everything very well but just stopped working...
Please clean laser lens with good quality cotton bud gently and check dvd disc playback, if still does not play, replace optical lens block.
Let me know model number of your Sony DVD-VCR combo to provide you optical laser block part number info.

DVD/VCR Combo is Locked. The read out on the box says LOCKED
You might press the "Childlock" (or something lock) button on the remote control to unlock it. Hope it help!

Open DVD tray, Press SETUP on remote, Initiate Set Up, Go to 'i' to Select SYSTEM INFO, Enter 1101 on remote keypad, Enter 0 (zero) for region free, Press ENTER on keypad, Close DVD

DVD player locked
I had this problem too. I found this solutiong on another web site and it worked. To unlock the dvd player turn on the tv.Get your remote in hand. Press and hold the stop button for the dvd player on the TV/DVD/VCR. Now press the power button on the REMOTE. This will unlock/lock the dvd player.

i went to this site and got the users manual
you will need to register first though
if your problem was the same as mine then all you need to do is hold the on button on your remote for 8 seconds
