The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Removal Info here

www.fitaudio.com

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

A CLEAR photo of any labels is also very useful

The code would have been in the instructions ( user/ operator manual) for the installation of the radio or on a tag on the back of the radio

Cant unlock radio

Normally in the manual it has a code/passcode that has to be put into it for it to come on first off. You probably never had this because it was done for you before you got it. But generally once the battery is disconnected then it resets the radio and the passcode is needed again. This was designed for when radios were stolen and were then unable to be used. However! If you don't have the passcode then looking too some mechanics they are able to unlock he radio for you,

Pioneer AVIC 700 sirius satellite radio stopped working, stuck on

My AVIC-F900BT was stuck on one channel and wouldn't change. There was no sound. Radio head detected Satelitte system, but no buttons worked. Found on the internet a solution that worked for me. I disconnnect the battery terminals for 5 minutes and then connected them. When the system rebooted, the Sirius radio worked fine. I'm posting this hopeing it will help someone.
