Unfortunately, you'll need to use a computer that has WinXP or Vista in order to transfer what you have on the hard drive. So you have two choices: Go to a pawn shop or goodwill, etc. and buy an inexpensive XP computer - preferably a laptop. You shouldn't have to pay more than $100 for one of these. The other option is to send your camera to a repair shop or dub house that will copy the data to disc and return both to you. Expect to pay about the same $$ for this service. I have used my Enviro MG21 with windows 7 and now Win 8 with no problems so I don't think it is comparability issue.
Try opening up "My Computer" and see if Enverio appears as a device, if not try adding it via "Control Panel - then add device abd manually install via the on screen instructions"
You need to buy JVC software CD that is available in JVC Accessories Store. Above CD is for GZ-MG130 model, if your camcorder model is different, please check accordingly by typing model number in search bar at left side. Thanks.
I have JVC hard disk camcorder everio GZ-MG22AS with 20 GB hard disk drive which is full now, tried to copy it in my pc with its USB but it cannot be done?!
