Repeatedly I unfriendingand blocking a person who just keeps coming up on my Facebook how do I get rid of them

You may have been doing the following:

Continued prohibited behavior after receiving a warning or multiple warnings from Facebook
Unsolicited contact with others for the purpose of harassment, advertising, promoting, dating or other
inappropriate conduct

Use of a fake name

Impersonation of a person or entity, or other misrepresentation of identity

Posting content that doesn't follow the Facebook Terms

Devices can only have one Facebook account signed in at a time.

Something broke the app, most likely an update... Uninstall facebook and reinstall it. Should be fine.

Just a thought as I just experienced this myself: I wasn't aware that the applications on my ipad run in the background. So when I tried repeatedly to connect - each attempt was opening a new log in to Facebook. Once I learned that I had a number of background apps running - multiple times, specifically about nine Facebook entrances - I closed them all and was able to log in immediately. I'm not sure how something very simple (turning all these apps OFF - slipped by me.) If you wish to check: double click on your top / screen side, power button. Running apps will either have a red 'X' - older ipads, or have a 'mini screen' (each for all open apps) that you can 'swipe' off. On mine it's "up". This may not be what is causing you trouble but it was an instant 'fix' for me. Hope it helps - let us know? Thanks & good luck.

Go to your facebook account settings and un- tick the settings for text messages. This is probably coming from a social app that you clicked ok and it just took liberties with your phone. I think there is one called Swoosh with lots of emoticons. Not sure if you can block it via your phone, but try settings there as well.

Well it depends, We here have lives also and I for one Come here when i have some spare time. I have no idea exactly how many Experts are on this site. But sometimes questions can go awhile before being answered i have noticed. I wish i could answer them all. But my knowledge is only in specific things. Ads and pop up videos on Facebook there is no settings to turn them off from the Facebook settings, there is a setting to block pop ups in safari preferences on the Mac Pro but not sure with the iPad, try going into the safari preferences on the iPad if it has the option to block pop ups turn that setting on and the restart the iPad ie on/off, if no option to block then stumped

You probably have scripting blocked. Check the browser configuration. Another possibility is that you are behind a firewall that is blocking part of facebook.
