Wont dial 0345 numbers

After a lot of research, I have found that GE has handed the phones and their manuals down to a company called "ThomsonTM" And if you come across any of problems for this phone in the future, I'll give you their phone number so you can still get help, at: 1-800-447-1700

Otherwise for help right now for the speed dial issue, I could only find directions that were of general use of multiple GE Cordless Phones, so it's worth a shot if you've got the time, otherwise, I suggest calling the number above.

Here is goes:

1.)Raise the phones reciever, or push the "Power/On" button.

2.)Press the "Store" button.

3.)Press the number 0 through 9 or a quick dial letter A, B, C,... to assign, then press the "Store" Button again to confirm the entry.

4.)Enter the number you want to assign the speed dials memory location, and press "Store".

5.)If your GE Phone prompts you to enter a Contact Name, use the keypad to enter it. Press the "Skip" button to enter a space, and the "Store" button to confirm your entry once again.

Once again, this is just a generalized GE Cordless phone guide, and may not be exact to your phone, in which I further suggest calling the electronic product's helpline by ThomsonTM at:

So in other words your looking to replace the knobs on your timer correct? you can order new knobs and the under side of the knob if you think that is the issue otherwise you would also have to order a new timer as well if the seating to where the dial goes into is stripped on the timer you can use this company to order any of your parts there very helpful and alot cheaper then the other companies I find http://www.allbrandonline.com/Default.aspx?Page=My%20Account%20Profile if you have any further questions or need a part number to any piece on your unit message me back the correct model number and I will look into your situation further. I think I found a solution: this appears to be a single-outlet version of GE 06655 Light-Sensitive 8-Hour Dual-Outlet Timer. I have tried matching the dial settings from the online image and it seems to work. There are seven settings on the timer switch. Set the pointer of the rotary switch dial so the ridge clicks into place with one end pointing precisely at the triangular switch position indicator. This is the Off position. Turn the dial one click clockwise, this is the Always On position. Then comes the 2-Hour setting, meaning it comes on at dusk and turns off after two hours. Then come the 4-hour, 6-hour and 8-hour settings. Finally, the Dusk-till-Dawn setting.

It's a pretty straightforward process, Pick up the handset press STORE a location (0-9) STORE dial the number STORE

With only 10 storable numbers it's pretty thin, but you also have the last 50 CID numbers to dial. If you live in an area with more than one local area code (overlays) and mixed 10 digit dialing, it looks like you may have some programming to do to make it dial CID numbers properly.

here is the owner manual , to much to type , but start at storing a phone number in MEMORY , start reading at the word MEMORY in the user guide .you need to list a phone number in memory and then assign a number to it for future speed dial , yet they use the term memory . can be accessed while on the hook or off .

Try the follow steps and see if it helps:

1. Take out the battery and wait 10 minutes.
2. Put the battery back in.
3. Place phone on charger for 20-25 minutes.
4. Pick up the phone and try dialing.

To program:
1. press speaker or lift handset.
2. press STORE
3. dial the number to be stored
4. press MEMORY DIAL
5. press location (0-9 on keypad or 1 of the 3 emergency quick dial)
6. press speaker or hangup.

1. press speaker or lift handset.
2. press any of 3 emergency quick dial
To dial stored numbers:
1. press speaker or lift handset.
2. press MEMORY DIAL
