How do I reset after forgotten pattern and it won't recognize my email/password?

My little brother set a password on my tablet and then forgot it .... is there anyone out... there is no 'forgotten password' and i have tried resetting it so i have to a standstill... alright thanks.... how do i do a complete restore ? How Do I "Factory Reset" My Tablet?

If pattern or passwords do not work, then reset the tablet to sign in.

1. Enter wrong pattern 5 times and wait for 30 seconds.
2. Select "Forgot pattern" and enter your email account username and password.
3. Make sure you use the same account that was used to activate the device and double check the password by logging in to that email account in a browser.
4. If you don't have access to the original email account, you will need to do a hard reset and loose your settings and apps on the devcice. The data on the memory card will not be wiped though.
Note: if you can't remember your email password, you will have to visit the email service support page to get it reset.

It is quite normal that after providing an unlock pattern to your tablet or mobile, you forget the pattern and attempt unlocking the device multiple times. In this process, many times your device gets permanently locked, and you no longer get any access to it. Hi if you forgot your pattern and email the only option is to reset your device to factory default.

If it's linked to your google account you should be able to reset it. Taken from user manual:

After five wrong entries, you can reset
your unlock pattern. Tap Forgotten
pattern? and enter your Google account
username and password.
Note: You must have an active
Google account on the tablet and
an Internet connection.
If this option is not available, please
contact your local Acer service
center.

If you have it linked to an email account, then if you enter your password 5 times you should get a forgot password button. Click it and follow the prompts to reset the password. You can also reboot the tablet and hold either power + vol up or power + vol down to get a menu with the option to factory reset the tablet. This will erase all data too.
