You need to download iTunes from Apple.com. Once downloaded you just add your music to the iTunes librairy or buy new music from the iTunes store then you sync the iPod with your librairy, it's fairly easy to do.

Or, I prefer using mediamonkey but it's a little harder to use and I think you need to buy it to enable syncing with iPods.
