Place your finger in the door recess on the right-hand side of the sanitizer and pull open the door.

Remove the drip tray.

Remove the protective screen by gently lifting it up and pulling it forward.

To remove the UV light bulb, pull it out of the lamp holder.

Install the UV light bulb by snapping it into the lamp holder.

Align the pegs on the protective screen with the slots in the reflective surface of the sanitizer on either side of the UV light bulb.

Insert and gently push down the screen to secure it in the sanitizer.

Reattach the drip tray.

the UV lamp does produce some ozone .. this one specifies .04 ppm .. thats not very much but might be detectable as a slight fresh air odor .. some other types use electrostatic filtering and some even have strong ozone generators .. ozone does kill bacteria, fungus and such and will freshen the air removing many odors but is not considered healthy in large or concentrated amounts or for prolonged periods .. the UV lamp will also kill bacteria and fungus without producing so much ozone.

Purifying Method: Photoplasma, UV, ions, and ozone.

possibly a bad control finger control board. had a problem just like that and that repaired it.

This means that the UV lamp has stopped working. Since you need a good starter to make the lamp work, it make sense to replace both at the same time.

Where can I get a replacement ultraviolet germicidal lamp? I have been to Brookstone store and on line without help. My unit is a Pure Ion.
