To connect your Emerson TV to Netflix, you need to follow these steps:
Ensure that your Emerson TV is connected to the internet. You can do this by connecting your TV to your home Wi-Fi network using the TV's settings menu.
Once your TV is connected to the internet, you need to launch the TV's smart TV platform or app store.
Look for the Netflix app and select it.
If you don't have the Netflix app installed on your TV, you can download it from the app store.
After selecting the Netflix app, it should prompt you to sign in with your Netflix account information. If you don't have a Netflix account, you can sign up for one on the Netflix website.
Once you're signed in, you can browse and watch movies and TV shows on Netflix using your Emerson TV.
Note that the exact steps may vary depending on the model of your Emerson TV and the version of its software. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, you can consult the user manual or contact Emerson customer support.
Hello
If you want to restart your Netflix account to get back to watching your favorite TV shows and movies, simply sign in to Netflix.com and click Restart Membership from any profile except a Kids profile. If your account is inactive, you'll be asked to restart your membership once you sign in to Netflix.
It would depend on if it is a smart tv or a standard tv (meaning it is a tv and no applications, network etc are on it). If you have a standard tv you would need internet and a device to play your netflix such as Xbox 360, Xbox one,Amazon Firetv, PS3, PS4, etc. Then you sign into netflix on those devices.
In the event your tv is a smart tv and has a netflix app on it you need to connect either wire or wireless internet to the tv before you can sign into the netflix app.

The Sony Bravia has the Netflix App built into the TV so it sound like the user who initially set it up is still logged in? They will most likely have to sign out through their Netflix account themselves, or you might be able to access the option through the Sony Essentials account that should have been set up with the TV.
You can follow this link to the Sony website for the issue. If you continue to have issues, I recommend the Chat option to the right of the page for live tech Support.
