Bogs down imead. after 1st gear,loses power, have checked fuel system and ran detailed diagnostic, cant determine problem. can anybody shed some light?

Could be the auto tranny box oil ,wrong grade and too heavy oil has been used or someone ?? has topped up with engine oil ,wouldnt be the first time i have come across this

im having the same prob it ticks over fine in neutral but at lights standing still in 1st gear she just wont hold on n dies! So today she's in for full service will report back on spark plug solution! but i think the clutch plates are worn down allowing it to slip out of life!

Check fuel flow and pressure , if pressure is low check fuel pump. if flow is low replace fuel filter.

Sounds like a computer or Emissions control issue. Any codes?

air filter really dirty, injectors stuck open. fuel pressure regulator is bad.

Check your vacuum lines near your intake. Usually with bogging in gears would be a bad front o2 sensor. When was the last time you got a tune up? Spark plugs, wires, fuel filter. Not being up to date on those can cause the car to lose performance.
