Alfatel h1 GPRS
i havealfatel h1 china mobile..
where shall i set the GPRS settings ?
i've already tried service-data accounts..
and created an account with apn,no pass. (as service support team said)
what else i need to do ?
the web browser saying ''cprs failure or sumthing''
but not connecting yet ! y ?

Which APN are you using? If you use "cmwap" then you need to set up the proxy address and port (10.0.0.172:80) - with "cmnet", they should be blank.
I have to admit that I would have expected the Alfatel to be already set up - it's made in Shenzhen, after all - so it's possible that your phone has a fault.
Sorry - I just realized that I read your question wrong - when you said "china mobile" I thought you meant they were your service provider, but I suspect that you are actually saying the phone is Chinese?
Which company is providing your phone service?
Hi Trimesh, Yeah i am using a chinese made phone and in bangalore and service provider is Vodafone. GPRS not working on Samsung Galaxy I9300 I have dual sim china cell phone of model 19300..the vodafone gprs does not work here. i have tried adding vodafone_gprs as apn name and then Apn_typehttp://live.vodafone.in and those details
