Samsung french door freezer will not open

Cannot open freezer door. refrigerator is off.

If it's iced up then that would hold it shut until it melts.

Icing up is usually caused by a bad seal!

    not frozen shut...refrig is unplugged

    Sorry... I figured it wouldn't be frozen by now, but you never know...... Has some trickster used super glue? As far as I'm aware there is only a magnetic strip keeping it closed.... OR a vacuum inside. I release my vacuum by pulling on the seal with a finger.
    Perhaps a paint scraper slid along seal

On some refrigerators there is a chute that lets cold air from the freezer section into the refrigerator side. If this fails to open than the refrigerator will not chill.
Also a refrigerator low on charge will act like yours.
