The 2 stroke oil goes in the bottle at the front but i would check its bled at the oil pump and working by checking it is pulsing from the oil injection pipe before playing on it.otherwise premix it in the fueltank to be on the safe side.

SOURCE: my gilera stalker (49cc) may need an oil top-up.

There is a max mark on the 2 stroke tank visible through a slot in the fairing.
If you cant see that then fill with NEAT oil (no petrol) to within 2 inches of the top, this will last ages

SOURCE: WHERE DO DO YOU PUT THE 2 STROKE OIL MIX IN A SHERCO SM50

hi i dont know these bikes personally but, they will have a seperate tank for the two stroke oil,you will probably find it behind one of the side covers,do not put it directly into the fuel tank, that will cause all sorts of drama,as the oil(being heavier than the fuel)will sink straight to the bottom of the tank, fill the carb with oil, then you will never get it started, hope this helps...cheers

Do you have to mix oil and fuel before putting in the fuel tank if so what oil and petrol do i need to use

Yes. You need to purchase two-cycle oil and mix it with petrol according to the chainsaw manufacturer instructions (this information is in the manual). It will specify the appropriate mix for your chainsaw.

What sroke is a masport 635. is it two or 4 stroke. it has an openping for the petrol and a seperate opening for the oil.

Judging from what discription you are giving me I would say it is a 4 stroke, so make sure you have either sae 30 or 10/w30 oil in crankcase where it says oil and petrol (gas) in the other tank. 2StrokeJim

How much oil do I ideally put into a full gas tank on my 2 stroke Kymco Like 50? can you put too much?

Hi, not familiar with this bike, does it not have a separate oil tank,?, if your machine is pre mix this means you mix the correct amount of oil and fuel together as. Single form of lubrication, this way the oil gets directly to the engine parts, when the fuel, oil, and air mixture enter the engine the spark ignights it and the engine running process is started, the mixture is atomized to a form of mist, to much oil would render the mist to sticky, and seizure may occure from overheating, as would also be the case for to little oil, MY RESEARCH DOES NOT COME UP WITH A 4T 2 STROKE
ONLY A 4 STROKE WHICH OBVOUSLY HAS NO OIL ADDED TO THE PETROL.

Could you please let me know. 1] Can I use E10 fuel in my new RLT 30 CET 30cc trimmer that I have just purchased and am yet to start up? 2] Is 50 to 1 50mm of oil to one litre of petrol?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly

First off the engine is designed to operate on unleaded fuel. The manufacturer makes no statements at all about E-10 Fuel. I will tell you from experience that you can use E-10 Fuel but.... should you ever have a warranty claim make sure the entire fuel system is 100% unleaded pre-mixed fuel. Your not going to hurt the unit using E-10 fuel as long as you maintain the proper fuel-oil mixtures. If anything a splash more of 2 stroke oil as in 22 mm / liter vs 20 mm. Or (+) 8 mm per gal.

Manufacturers statemenrts and recommended fuel mixtures below:

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

The person I bought it off said it takes 50 to 1 don't know how to measure that

50 to 1 means that for every 1 unit of (2 Stroke) oil you use 50 of the same units of petrol. Most 2 stroke oil bottles have a measure on the side which you use to measure how much oil you're using so for 5 Litres of petrol (approx 1 gallon) you would use 100ml of oil.

50 to 1 which is usually written as 50:1 is a very light mix. Husqvarna saws use 40:1. You need to use good quality 2 stroke oil from tool hire shops rather than the cheaper stuff you can buy at petrol service stations. Some makes of 2 stroke oil, like Stihl, have a measuring cup on them with ratios marked on the side. To fill them you take the cap off the measuring cup and fill to the mark at 50:1 by squeezing the oil bottle. Then pour that into 5 litres of petrol. You can also buy mixing bottles in some hardware stores with ratios marked on them. You fill the oil up to the mark 50:1 and then fill it up with petrol to get the right mix.

Do i mix the casstrole oil with the petrol for the aprilia 125

It depends if you still have a pre mix tank already fitted. Mine came with the pre mix tank taken off. It is a white coloured container in a fairly flat shape on the 98 model which should be underneath the seat when you lift it. Not sure about newer models. It should have 2 stroke oil in (quite often pink). If not I have been advised to mix the 2 stroke with the petrol at about 50:1 ratio, however I would check with your local motorcycle shop or Aprilia dealer. Alternatively get a workshop manual for the correct year of bike and it will give you all the information you need in there. Also if the tank runs to empty it has to be bled otherwise if air is in the pre mix tank it can cause damage to the engine.
