Did you just install the radio? if you did make sure you get all the right color coded to the right speaker. I don't know of any car radio would have relay install, fuse would be more like it and more safe when it come to sensitve electronics. did this problems just arised or you had for awhile and now it just quit. If the systems has been in the car for while and it just started to happens than you may have bad connect to your speakers, check both post + & - making sure they have good contact; check to make sure speakers is good and not blown. check & trace the speaker wires making sure is not cut from pinching. if the wires check out than you have an audio problem from the unit it self. most of the radio equip with 2 fuses, one internal and external. if the radio has no warranty left on it than you can open the cover up and check making sure fuse looks good. if its still under warranty, do not mess with it, take the unit back or contact manufacture company how to ship and where to ship to. I hope that help some..good luck!!

I have a Yamaha htr-5740 receiver right channel is out .how do I find and fix it .I have a meter and can half as solder help please

Very easy to fix. Download htr5740 service manual.Locate speaker relays exchange the front speaker relay with the REAR ONE. If sound comes out from front left and right speakers but no sound comes from one of the REAR speakers. The defective component is front speaker relay.
Replace the relay will get it fixed. See service manual
P.82. Yellow circled is front speakers relays
When av-amp used more than four years, relay contactswill be oxidized, making bad contact.20069e32-58e8-4b17-b2b9-b2a7eadd035b.jpg

Yamaha rx-v673 rear surround speakers fail self-diagnostic test, i.e. no power to them

For your symptom, the problem may come from relay of
Rear speakers. To test it, exchange this relay with FRONT
Speakers. If no sound come from front speaker but rear
do, problem must be rear relay.
If no sound for both front left and right
speakers, checks the red arrow components
and also relay controlling front speakers.
Remember to
download RXV673 service manual to locate them.552aa962-8689-48fb-b67c-1751c4311818.jpg

Coby subwoofer hookup

if you are missing the voice tracks from movies, chances are the problem is with the center channel. Most voices come from the center speaker. Make sure that you have a speaker hooked up on the center channel and that it is turned on in the setup menu.

No sound

check speaker conections. disconnect all the speaker wires and use one speaker that you know that works and connect it to each channel one at a time. most surround sound stereos will not go into surround mode unless all the speakers are connected so make sure stereo is in 2 channel mode to start testing. check all fuses sometimes amp fuse is seperate from power circuit and denon uses relays in 99% of thier units.

I have a pioneer receiver..vs 812....and sound has ceased to come out of it. It comes on....and switches between sources...but there is no signal coming from ANY source

First make sure the speaker A/B switch is on.
If still no sound, dissconect ALL speakers from the rear of amp.
Now turn on amp and listen for the relays to click in.
One relay will click when you press power. A couple of seconds later, the speaker relay will click in.
If it does, you could have blown outputs, bad speaker wiring, faulty speakers.
If it does not, the speaker relay may be faulty.
Hope this helps.
