You may overfill the ISV tank. #1 Open front cover & close LIQUID valve on the ISV. #2 Disconnect LIQUID hose from tank, then open tank liquid valve (which you close earlier) to reduce some refrigerant manually from the ISV tank. #3 after reduce refrigerant from tank, re-connect everything & switch on the machine. #4 If you still have the same problem then you have to re-calibrate the scal. I hope this will help you

Why can u not fill my isv it will try but shuts off instantly?

If it's a replaceable tank it likely has a check valve to prevent backfilling. If the tank is designed to be refilled you may need a different hose for filling it, check the manual.

I'm Archie i've a Robinair 34988 just five days old and having problem with it. It keeps displaying HIGH PRESSURE (HIGH PRESSURE RESET). whether you try to vacuum, recharge, refill or anything...

This is a common problem of Model: 34788, 34788-I, 34988, AC34788, GE48800 etc.
You need to replace air purge solenoid (Air purge solenoid located on top of the ISV tank, if you open front panel cover then you can see it on top of the tank).
After doing above stapes and your problem still exist then you have to replace PCB relay board. Just claim for warranty (Air purge solenoid and PCB relay board) from where you bought the machine.
Hope this will help to solve your problem, if so please vote for it for farther help! Good luck
