Repair person said that Electrolux said element is too close to floor of oven, but that makes no sense. The oven is only 3 yrs old and the element did not "move."
Good Morning Eileen, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that your Electrolux double wall oven is having over heating issues. It is possible that this could be a faulty thermostat, control panel, or element. Since it could be anyone of these underlying having a technician out would help avoid any unnecessary part purchases. If you need help locating a technician you can visit your manufacturer's website for additional assistance with locating a technician. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Unfortunately, the Electrolux technician that was on the list of Electrolux repair persons given to me by Electrolux was the person that did not check the thermostat or anything else other than to tell me that the coil is too close to the floor of the oven, which again makes no sense as we've had this oven for over two years with no problem before. The display shows no change in temperature even though the coil is red hot and visible through the metal floor and everything is turning to charcoal. I don't think this technician was competent.
