hi , that s related to a brake fault, check connections and the micro-switch that is closed when you operate the free-wheel lever...

Make sure it 's in drive mode, you can push the scooter when i nthis mode...

Your best bet is to replace the throttle potentiometer. This can be purchased from the manufacturer Pride Mobility part#FRMASMB15318 or from Monster Scooter Parts:

Get the service manual from Pride's website it has trouble shooting information in more detail that the owner's manual.

Turn the dial-a-speed down to half-way. If issue continues check motor wiring. The click is likely the brake disengaging - which it should. If motor is okay (under 2 ohms) then you likely have a bad speed pot and/or engager assy.
These are wear items and are usually replaced every 3-5 years.

- White & Red: 5k1 + 10%
- Red & Black: 2.5k1 (approx.)

lets look at that model number and seriel number. I can look up it's history. Take the batteries to Advance or Auto zoon, Get them "Load Tested" it's free. Are there any flash codes or beep codes. the light on the console will flass or a beeping noise after you turn it on ? these are codes which we can tell what can be a problem. mike
