None of the on screen functions are working. For example the step on pads and build-its dont work.
Probably your game is ok, I guess you have a problem with youe video card. You should do a diagnosis of your video card.
Just guessing, do you have an external card? Maybe BIOS was reset to factory setting and the game can't run on moterboard's inbuilt video?

Correct. Excuse me. I didn't note that your game is for a Nintendo 3DS. anyway, it can be a problem with the video card. Does your console work for OTHER games?
Thank you! Great suggestion. I'm sorry for being so ignorant about these things. It's my son's 3DS and I don't use it myself. He just tested another game and is experiencing the same issues. Is there someplace we can take it in to have it looked at or replace the video card?
You should ask a computer repair technician though I'm not too optimistic about the possibility to repair it.
