What is the correct spark plug gap?
The spark plug gap on all products is .025-inch.

What type of spark plug does the unit take?
The size of the plug varies from unit to unit. On trimmers, blowers and hedge trimmers is RCJ-8Y or RCJ-6Y. Follow the spark plug recommendation and replacement procedures in the operator's manual if you are doing the work yourself.

I have 2 weed eater brand weedeaters 18cc Featherlite and when i use both of them after a while they quit running ! I am using the correct fuel/oil mixture and i have changed the plugs and checked the air...

Possible coil break down. These cheap weed eaters only have a life expectancy of about 50 hrs Plus or Minus. You can buy new for less that it cost to repair them.Sorry that's the facts.
