Have you enabled Bluetooth under the settings>connections? It should show up as the device name. Failing that, try and see if it shows up under NFC. Make sure the speaker is fully charged.

My alcatel ot 800 phone is not recognising my headphones when I connect them to it..anyone know why is that?

  • Everyone, after having the same problem I decided to look into this a bit more and have found a 100% fix. The problem is not just with the Alcatel but with many other Androids ! It has nothing to do with quality of wiring or the jack itself, its the software in the phone that can not always tell if it has a head phone in it or not. Here is what you do.....buy a double 3.5 jack (£1.99 at Maplins) and put headphones into it that you know that work. If the headphones you have selected work OK, then put another lead into the second jack and plug into any other device and it will work in a perfect way.....Problem solved....hope this helps ! Gerry.
