I had the same problem. This seemed to work. Go to device manager and open the network adapters tab. Double click on the Netgear device. In the next window that pops up, the first of the properties is Channel. I had to change my channel value in the box on the right to channel 11. You can see what channel is called for by double clicking the Netgear icon in the task bar at the bottom of the screen (a red or green computer monitor icon--red if you're not connected). Good luck--hope it helps.

My sister has a Motorola SP4200 router with a Netgear WPN824v2 wireless router/accesspoint/switch connected to it. Previously she had the SP4200 connected to port 1 (not WAN) port on the Netgear as it is...

it might be asking for a WEP password in order for you to use it which is on the botom of the router or the game sistem is the one causing the trouble and should not be conected to any wirless or eathernet internet routers.

I connected my netgear wirekess router succesfull however after i installed the wirless dongle it comes up saying i am connected with a limited service and wont alloy me to go on line please help if u can

repair the connection by right clicking the wireless connection and choosing Repair. if that doesn't work then you should try to disable and then re-enable the connection. try adding the IP address of router to you list of DNS servers for the wireless connection.

NETGEAR wgr614 cable wireless router

Hello,
have you tried to follow the manual chapter 3, page 3-1 ?
If you lost your manual you can find one here:
http://kbserver.netgear.com/pdf/wgr614v6_ref_man_20Apr05.pdf

One of your computers can go online because its using a wired connection to the router, but the wireless clients cannot access the connection - is this right?

Then you only need to setup the wireless part in the router.

My 3 different mac laptops with airport can't connect to my wirless

Sounds like you might be accidentally connecting to a neighbour's network instead of your own. You need to go into your wireless settings on each laptop and tell them to connect to your own network.

Server not found} NetGear WGR614 Wireless Router doesn't connect me to the internet.

Dear Loud Nouises,

Your router must be connected properly to the cable modem. This must be to the wan port on the router.

Next, the router must be set-up accordingly to recognize the modem's internet connections. Please ask for the IP address.. and other relevant informations from your internet provider.

Set -up your computer using the internet connections wizard on each of your respective computer.

This should work fine if all connections were correctly configured.
